Wild & Well was founded not just as a business but as a heartfelt endeavour to make a positive impact on the wellbeing of those who share our love of nature.

At Wild & Well we are not just promoters of nature; we are advocates for overall wellbeing. Wild & Well practitioners have qualifications in Psychology and Mental Health, as well as Outdoor Recreation and First Aid. Wild & Well is committed to improving the health and happiness of participants while advocating for Nature-based therapies to be recognised as a standard Public Health practice.

Nature Therapy (often referred to as ecotherapy or nature-based therapy) is a powerful, evidence-based practice that harnesses the healing power of nature. Nature Therapy involves professionally facilitated interactions with natural elements and landscapes to promote mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. Wild & Well staff specialise in providing individualised, evidence-based and recovery focused support to people experiencing mental health challenges and psychosocial disability. Wild & Well works collaboratively with health, community, and government organisations to provide holistic support and a safe environment for people to live fully within the community. Wild & Well staff are highly skilled, experienced, and friendly mental health professionals dedicated to offering opportunity and improving lives of those living with mental health challenges. Wild & Well are also passionate about the outdoors and the benefits of nature. We love introducing people to new and fun things and sharing incredible experiences with others.
Immersion in nature will look different for everyone and at Wild & Well you can be sure that your individual needs and preferences will be met. We can facilitate customised single day programs or multi day retreats, and create the perfect experience for you. Wild & Well have access to a variety of destinations around Victoria, Australia with different types of accommodation to choose from. Day programs and mulit-day trips can include nature based activities, as well as other therapeutic and restorative options. Wild & Well will work with you to prepare for your trip and we offer a complimentary planning session.

Therapeutic nature retreats and respite are offered throughout beautiful Victoria and allow participants to slow down and reconnect while moving through a range of calming and healing activities in exquisite and tranquil surrounds. Nature retreats and respite are delivered as flexible, high quality support packages including accommodation, meals, assistance with daily living and support to participate in activities. The trip is tailored to individual needs and preferences and provides 24/7 1:1 support from the most wonderful mental health professionals.
Nature Therapy can be delivered as a single day program for individuals or groups. Group day programs provide opportunity for social participation, which fosters a sense of community and support among participants. Sharing experiences and challenges with others can be therapeutic in itself. Single day trips are facilitated in a suitable natural environment close to your home base. Destinations close to home provides opportunity to connect with and learn about your local area, which we encourage you to continue visiting on a regular basis. Day programs, whether individual or group, include all transport, food and support with daily living and participation in activities.
Wild & Well programs are accessible to NDIS participants with Respite/STA funding or adequate funding in Capacity Building: Increased Social and Community Participation.
